Court-ordered accounts are a horse of a different color! They bring special requirements, legal documents, executors, higher risk, and even more complexities. This program will delve into the high risk involved in court-ordered accounts and the legal documents that accompany them. From guardianships to esttates, it will look at the key players, who can do what, and whether you can refuse an account. You’ll learn how to open these high-level accounts and how to review the paperwork and involve legal counsel. Some institutions send all paperwork to legal counsel, but many take a first look and then send it when there are complications. Join us to learn how your procedures may be exposing your institution to risk on these special accounts. This in-depth program will teach you how to color inside the lines and compliantly administer these accounts from guardianships to estates.
