Strong security starts before a threat walks through the door. Evaluate your branches, ATMs, and banking properties with practical security assessment strategies that identify vulnerabilities, reduce risk, and create safer environments for employees and accountholders. This webinar will provide participants with a practical framework for conducting comprehensive security assessments of branch facilities, ATM locations, and other banking properties. Attendees will learn how to identify weaknesses in physical security, operational practices, and environmental conditions that may increase the risk of robbery, fraud, workplace violence, and other criminal activity. A key component of the session will focus on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles and how they can be applied to create safer, more secure banking environments. Participants will learn how lighting, landscaping, visibility, access control, territorial reinforcement, and maintenance influence both criminal behavior and consumer perceptions of safety. Through photographs, examples, and real-world case studies, attendees will see how relatively simple environmental changes can reduce risk and deter criminal activity.
